Daisey Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier Senior Female for sale in Mobile, Alabama

Daisey's story
Daisey is 10 years old and weighs a chubby 8 lbs. Daisy is vision-impaired with bilateral cataracts. Otherwise, she is a perfect Little Alabama Princess. Sweet Daisey is being fostered in Mobile, AL. UPDATED BIO 6/12/2018: Daisey is an owner surrender whose family was unable to care for a little one who needs a little more attention than most doggies. Daisey is blind in her left eye and has impaired vision in her right eye due to bilateral cataracts.
Daisey had her vet visit today. The vet said that Daisey should lose about 1

1

lbs to be a healthier weight. After only a few days days of being in her foster home, she has learned her way around the entire kitchen

what a smart little girlie even though she is severely vision-impaired. Daisey will have a much-needed dental appointment on Monday and will hopefully see a specialist soon to see if there is a potential of her gaining vision in at least one of her eyes.
Daisey is doing her best to adjust to all of the changes in her life, and with impaired vision, she is doing a very good job at adapting to so many new things. She stays very close to her foster mom. This little southern princess is the perfect lap dog! She loves to be very close and wants to constantly snuggle

so if you are looking for a little snuggle-buddy who loves being with her human(s), Daisey is the gal for you!
Daisey's perfect forever home would be with at least one stay-at-home person to keep her company and give her lots of attention. She would probably enjoy having a fur-sibling close to her size and age to help her navigate around. If you think your home is the right one for this little southern princess, please complete/submit an adoption application.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to Daiseys small size and the fact that her diminished vision can cause her to startle easily, she cannot go into a home with children under the age of 14.
Now a few words from little Miss Daisey:
Daisey here! I am getting lots of attention at this new home. My foster mom loves to talk to me when she cooks in the kitchen. Oh, and when she watches TV, I get to sit in her lap or next to her on the sofa. I really like that. We went to the vet yesterday and it really wasn't that terrible. But . it wasn't as fun as my foster mom made it out to be.
The doctor said I need a different food to help me get my weight under control. It sounded like they both think I need to lose a little weight

awk! I am still offended but Ill get over it! I dont think Im chubby. I just think my legs are too short. And I don't understand all this walking my foster mom expects me to do. I think now she is trying to kill me with all this carazee health kick. She says we are just walking around the yard. Well, it must be a Huge Yard is all Im sayin.
Foster mom said that I will be getting a dental on Monday. I am not sure what this is but I hope it doesn't hurt. She says I will find a perfect forever home and to just believe her that this will happen. I just wonder when that will be

I love it here already, and if a perfect forever home is better than here

just WOW.
